Tailship sailing for 2

Your Experience
You are going to spend the day as part of the crew sailing a magnificent 60 metre tall ship.  In true pirate-style you will take part in hoisting the complex square-rigged sails (the mast is 45m tall!), helming the ship, hauling the ropes and even attempting the up and over. For those who would rather sit back and take in the view there is plenty of room on deck.  You can stand back and enjoy the sailing, be lookout on the bridge or even climb out onto the bowsprit for a closer look at the action.  Your expert crew will make sure your days runs smoothly and will be on hand to answer questions about the fascinating ship.

Vital Information
No previous sailing experience is required and non-swimmers are welcome. It is not suitable if you are pregnant, suffer from neck or back problems, are aged under 14 or over 75. As a very popular experience you will need to book at least 8 weeks in advance.

The Weather
Sailing may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions which would make it dangerous. Please call the centre if in any doubt.

Session Length
This experience runs from 9.30 to 16.00. Take into account that you have to arrive 15 minutes before the start of the experience at the location and also that your experience sometimes can overrun.

Numbers
This experience takes place in groups of approximatly 35 to 80 persons.

Spectators
Yes, spectators are welcome and may enjoy a part or the whole experience with you. Ask our customer service for the specific conditions of the location.

Dress Code
For this experience we advise you to wear shoes with rubber soles and a raincoat. Might there be some supplementary requirements we will point it out to you.

Availability
When you want to make a booking you can make it by phone as well as online. We indicate to you that dates at the weekend are very popular and that you have to make a reservation in time. This experience is available on sundays from the end of june to mid august.
